Nangako si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte na hahabulin si Opposition Senator Franklin Drilon kung mapapatunayan na sangkot ito sa diumano'y tagilid na kontrata sa pagitan ng gobyerno at ng mga water concessionaires (Maynilad at Manila Water).


"That contract was approved by lawyers now in government. I hope Drilon is not one of them. Kasi when I decide to — ide-demanda ko talaga . I will file the charges of — it’s either plunder or syndicated estafa," banat ni Pangulong Duterte.

Dinepensahan din ni Pangulong DUterte ang ginagawa niyang hakbang laban sa mga water concessionaires.


"At nasabi that the economy will slow down. Sabi ko, “What can I do? There is a serious violation of the Constitution.” As a matter of fact, that contract right at the beginning was null and void,," paliwanagni Pangulong Duterte.

Babala ng Pangulong Duterte, handang siyang bumagsak pero wawasakin din daw niya ang mga sumisira sa ating bansa . Inudyukan na rin ni Pangulong Duterte si Senator Drilon na magsabi na ng totoo.

Sinabi ito ni Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang pagbisita sa Batangas na naapektuhan ng pagsabog ng Bulkang Taal.

Magugunitang nabuwisit si Pangulong Duterte matapos maglabas ng kautusan ang Singapore-based Permanent Court of Arbitration para pagbayarin ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas ng P3.4 billion sa Maynilad at P7.39 billion sa Manila Water dahil sa pagkalugi ng mga water companies.

Sinabi na ng Pangulo na hindi niya babayaran ang mga water companies at nagbanta pa ito na maghahain ng kasong “economic sabotage” and economic plunder laban sa mga kumpanya.
