BREAKING! Sen. Pia Cayetano dinurog sa kahihiyan at Pinagalitan si Hontiveros "So puro bulok na lang tayo? Ang Bobo Mo!"

Gusto paimbestigahan ni opposition senator Risa Hontiveros ang utang na P9.5 billion na ginamit ng Bases Conversion and Development Authority's (BCDA) upang ipagawa ang mga sports facilities na ginamit sa matagumpay na 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

"What is this supposed joint venture for when BCDA used public funds to pay for the amount that should have been shouldered by MTD?."Hindi natin puwede palampasin ito dahil nagastos ang P9.5 billion na magagamit sana ngayon panglaban sa COVID o kaya ay ayuda para sa Kabikulan matapos ang bagyong Rolly.

Given the billions that went to building the facilities used in the 2019 SEA Games, we must see to it that the transactions related to this project did not violate existing laws and policies, and were not prejudicial to the public," boladas ni Hontiveros.Ang patutsada na ito ni Hontiveros ay agad sinopla ni Senadora Pia Cayetano. Ayon kay Cayetano, pinoolitika ni Hontiveros ang world-class sports failities na pinagawa ng pamahalaan. 

"Does her honor know that they (athletes) cried when they saw the stadium? Does her honor know that they cried when they had the opportunity to run on the turf?. Wala ng mag aabalang gumawa ng matitino at kahanga hangang mga infrastructure dito sa Pilipinas dahil magpatayo ka lang ng maganda ay sasabihin na may kalokohan ka.

So paano puro bulok nalang tayo para walang pumansin, ganon? Paano magiging white elephant, madam sponsor, do you even know what are the conditions of the sports facilities para sabihin mo na ang world class na 'yun ay magiging white elephant?" resbak ni Cayetano.Si Senadora Cayetano ay kapatid ni dating Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano na nagsilbing chairman ng Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee na nangasiwa ng palaro noong 2019.
